Making Progress

Since our last critique, I scratched all of the pictures in that presentation. So- I completley started over, and have adapted the ideas I have posted before. I have 7 pictures thus far, and I am still working to get the rest done.

Concentration Photos

With the upcoming critique, I want to make my photos more impressive and diverse. That being said, I am going to take a close-up picture of the insecurity, and then have a diptec next to it with a portrait of the picture next to it, to show the insignificance, as Cooper suggested for me to do:). I will also photograph in different scenes, in which the model feels more comfortable. So far, I am pleased with a picture I have demonstrating the insecurity of skin discoloration or acne.

Breadth- Almost done!

 

I really like the portraits I took for my breadth because they provide a somewhat dark tone and feeling in them which none of my other pictures have.

From the Critique

On the critique of my concentration thus far I learned alot of intresting ideas I can apply to my project. It is because of these suggestions that I am going to improve the work in my concentration by:

1. changing the back ground or area in which I take the picture to create variety and allow the model to feel more comfortable when showcasing their insecurity.
2. try and photograph the model close up to magnify the insecurity and then as a diptec photograph them from normal distance to show the insignificance of the insecurity.
3. have the models write on a piece of paper what their insecurity is, and I can photoshop them in.
4. attempt to photograph in big groups, to make the insecurity seem more legitamate.
